112/05 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Councillor Johnson declared an interest in the Fete Field item and informed the meeting that he would take no part in the discussion.
113/05 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 14 MARCH 2005
The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday 14 March 2005 were approved and signed as a true and accurate record.

116/05 CHAIRMANS REPORT
Footpaths The Probation Service did some clearance in the vicinity of the Scouts Hut then failed to appear for the next three weeks. They did turn up on 27 March and rebuild the bridge parapet.
Fete Field Work has started on the pavilion. The Contractors has kept the site as clean as possible, neighbours have been very good and helpful. Completion is due mid August.
Due to delays outside of our control the NPFA representative Alan Penn could not take on the ground works contract and so George Attwood-Harris has been appointed, he is an independent consultant. Groundworks should be completed coincidental with the building.
Application has been made to the Football Foundation for 69% of £42,457 to enable our cash flow to be satisfactory.
RESOLVED:
To pay the 1st Certificate of £25,000 + v.a.t. as soon as the architect receives this.
To give permission to evaluate and award the contract for the Groundworks (submission due 22.4.05)
In January of last year, a young footballer died aged 23, over the years other Tansley sportsmen have also died young, (Peter Wood, George Hickton and Terry Hayto). It has been suggested that a simple marble or slate plaque be built into the pavilion wall, listing the four names. There would be no cost to the Council.
RESOLVED:
To commemorate the young sportsmen of the Parish.
Cemetery Path
The contract has been awarded and the work scheduled for early June, now awaiting the approval of the Diocese.

DDDC Saturday Morning Waste Collection Service it was decided to circulate the notice to all householders.
DDDC Environmental Maintenance Issues two gulley emptiers have been in the village today as informed in the letter that they would be and they would be returning again to ensure a more effective job.
Grant to Tabalink the clerk informed the meeting that the grant was no longer required.
119/05 DALC Circulars were noted
A Rights of Way Improvement Plan ( consultative document) needs to be submitted to DCC by 12 May 2005.
