156/07 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 12 MARCH 2007
The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday 12 March 2007 were approved and signed as a true and accurate record.
157/07 MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES
There was a discussion over the temporary closure of the post office, Cllr Johnson as a private individual showed an interest about the post office, as he had run one previously.
158/07 EXCLUSIONS
There were no items to be taken in exclusion.
159/07 CHAIRMANS REPORT
Fete Field
The clerk had received a phone call from Alan Penn of the NPFA saying that the drainage problem would be solved once and for all, once all playing had ceased.
The builder has put a drain across the gate to stop water going down Spout Lane, he has also concreted the wrong area for the disabled ramp.
The insurance cover is an issue with the Fete Field Trustees, the insurance company say that the Parish Council does not need to cover them, the Solicitors say that the Parish Council should cover them.
RESOLVED:
That the clerk go back to the insurers and request a quote for the trustees, whatever their advice.
That the clerk arrange insurance cover for the Summer Fayre
Burial Ground
The chairman put forward his report regarding the administration of the burial ground.
Quotations for Grass Cutting 2007
Derbyshire County Council have quoted as follows:
Fete Field £720.00 for 20 cuts and £192.00 for 4 flail mows
Heathy Lea £238.00 for the season

160/07 Local Council Elections
Only two parish councillors have been nominated and therefore elected, this means that further nominations have to be put forward and possibly an election held. Until more councillors are elected (3 is needed for a quorum), a parish council meeting cannot be held. Once there are 3 members then these can call a meeting and co-opt other members.
161/07 DERBBYSHIRE DALES LANDSCAPE CHARACTER AND DESIGN SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT CONSULTATION DRAFT
was received, the copy is to remain with the clerk, if anyone wishes to have sight of this.
162/07 HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
A letter has been received requesting help with safety improvements.
RESOLVED:
That the parish council award £300 towards the cost of safety improvements, and the grant will be awarded when the work has been carried out.
163/07 FLOWER POWER QUOTATION FOR HANGING BASKETS
RESOLVED:
That the Parish Council accept the quotation as follows:-
Hanging Baskets Plant Up £15.00, Promenades Plant Up £40.00, watering at £1.00 per unit.
164/07 CORRESPONDENCE was received
RESOLVED:
To write to Mrs Goult saying that some things are out of our powers and area, but they have been passed to the appropriate authority.
To write to Tansley Juniors FC saying that the parish council will support the installation of a Multi User Games Area.
