Cllr Whitworth took the chair for the meeting.
34/07 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllrs Spencer & Spink declared an interest in the planning application 06/00524/FUL at 4 Tansley House Gardens
35/07 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 12 JUNE 2006
The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday 12 June 2006 were approved and signed as a true and accurate record.
36/07 MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES
There were no matters arising.

There were no items to be taken in exclusion.
38/07 FETE FIELD REPORT
Cllr Whitworth read out the letter of appointment for the architect. The letter is very clear that the project is overspent now.
RESOLVED:
To seek advice now from the internal auditor regarding the overspend on the building to enable the accounts to be accepted at the appropriate time.
Permission was given by the meeting to release cheques over the summer recess.
Cllr Johnson raised the issue of dog fouling and litter on and near to the Fete Field.
RESOLVED:
To request dog fouling and litter bins from DDDC
39/07 EAST MIDLANDS IN BLOOM 7.7.06
Judging took place last Friday, the portfolio was shown to the Council. The judges were very impressed, the route took in Church St, Nottingham Road, The Garden Centre, the ponds to Lumsdale Mill. A garden at Tresco, Goldhill has been nominated .
Leaflets for Tansley in Bloom have been printed and will be distributed by the postman. Judging is to take place on 24 July, and Cllr Taylor is trying to get more gardens to be open.
40/07 DRCC CALOR VILLAGE OF THE YEAR
Judging is to take place on 16 August at Ashover.
RESOLVED:
That Cllrs Spink and Whitworth would attend.
41/07 COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
If the Parish Council affiliate to the Community Transport Scheme, this allows any group, individual in the village to use it. The cost is £15.00

Felling and pruning of trees on land to the rear of 61 Riber View Close Tansley – no comments

06/00524/FUL Two storey front extension and formation of decking area to side at 4 Tansley House Gardens Tansley – comments were made concerning the impact on the privacy of the neighbouring property and the PC seek the assurance of DDDC that it will protect the householder and the loss of their privacy.
