MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING OF TANSLEY PARISH COUNCIL ON MONDAY 12 JUNE 2006

18/07                  ELECTION OF CHAIR 2006/07

Cllr Whitworth took the chair for the meeting.

 

19/07                  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Cllrs Gray & Johnson declared interests in planning application 06/00427/FUL installation of solar panels at Lane End Cottage Green Lane. Cllr Johnson declared an interest in planning application 06/00431/FUL Conservatory extension to rear at Masson View Spout Lane Tansley.

 

20/07        MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 8 MAY 2006

The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday 8 May 2006 were approved and signed as a true and accurate record.

 

21/07        MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES

There were no matters arising.

22/07        EXCLUSIONS

There were no items to be taken in exclusion.

 

23/07          FETE FIELD REPORT

 

The hand over of the village hall is set for Friday 16 June 2006, last few bits are being tidied up now.  The grounds maintenance of the Fete Field is included within the initial job for the first year.

 

Cllr Johnson said that he would be happy to help with long term maintenance of the planted/landscaped area.

 

The official opening is to take place at 1.45pm on Saturday 17 June.

 

24/07           EAST MIDLANDS IN BLOOM 7.7.06

 

Judging is to take place in the afternoon, Cllr Taylor is putting the portfolio together.

 

25/07           DRCC CALOR VILLAGE OF THE YEAR

 

Judging is to take place on 15 June and arrangements are being made for villagers to be available to speak with the judges.  The Parish Council has entered the young people category.

 

26/07          APPOINTMENT OF INTERNAL AUDITOR

 

The parish council need to appoint a new internal auditor.

That the clerk approach David Coleman of Coleman Bradshaw, Matlock.

The Planning Inspectorate have allowed an appeal and granted outline planning permission subject to conditions for 05/00951/OUT Conversion of existing storage building to a single residential unit at Redhill Lane, Tansley

28/07           CORRESPONDENCE was received

 

A reply had been sent to DDDC regarding the sutstainable appraisal scooping report on Matlock Town Centre Action Plan which outline the need for improvements regarding tourism.

 

RESOLVED;

To invite a representative of DDDC to attend a meeting to discuss the Community Involvement document.

 

 

29/07           CIRCULARS

were received with the comments from the Ombudsman who has overturned the decision for gravestones with regards to health & safety.

 

Cllr Flitter commented that the Code of Conduct is to remain in place until 2008.  Any training that is available ought to be undertaken.

30/07          APPLICATION FOR GRANT

An application had been received from Childline Midlands & East Anglia

Not to award a grant.
