MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF TANSLEY PARISH COUNCIL ON WEDNESDAY 28 MAY 2008

Cllr Spencer was elected chair for the ensuing year

Cllr Gray was elected vice chair for the ensuing year

Cllr Gray signed the acceptance of office

6/2009                MINUTES OF THE MEETINGs HELD ON WEDNESDAY 23  APRIL AND TUESDAY 6 MAY  2008

The Minutes of the Meeting held on Wednesday 23 April and Tuesday 6 May were approved and signed as a true and accurate record.

 

7/2009          MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES

Letters had been received from Derbyshire Dales District Council regarding item 119/08 were read out and discussed.  The Parish Council is satisfied with the outcome.

8/2009          EXCLUSIONS

There were no items to be taken in exclusion.

 

9/2009          TIME/DAY/DATE & LOCATION FOR FUTURE MEETINGS

 

RESOLVED:

 

That the Parish Council should continue to meeting on 4th Wednesday of each month at the Fete Field Pavilion.  There would not be a meeting in August.

 

10/2009          TO DETERMINE SIGNATORIES FOR CHEQUES

 

RESOLVED;

 

That these would remain as Cllrs Gray, Greenhough & Taylor

 

11/2009          VILLAGE HALL UPDATE

There had been an open meeting, which had been very well attended, Ruth Cooper who had explained grants had given a presentation, and there had been suggestions for fundraising.

 

A request had been made by the Village Hall Committee to have a link onto the Parish Council website.

To accept this request

 

12/2009.1          DDDC – LETTER REGARDING CONSERVATION AREA

The letter has been circulated regarding this exercise, and the contents were noted.

12.2009.2    RATIONALISATION OF BT PUBLIC PAYHONE PROVISION AT CHURCH STREET TANSLEY

A letter had been received regarding the removal of the BT public payphone at Church Street Tansley.

13/2009          GRANT APPLICATION

 

13.2009.1     Tansley Development Association – a letter has been received requesting grant aid with the production of the carnival booklet as there is a shortfall in the region of £75.00

13.2009.2     Victim Support Derbyshire – a letter has been received requesting financial aid in running the service

 

RESOLVED:

 

That the TDA should be awarded £50.00 and Victim Support be awarded £25.00

DDDC – Naming & Numbering of New Development at Thatchers Croft Tansley was noted

 

Applications for consideration dealt with under Chair’s delegated powers:

08/00290/FUL Replacement roof to garage/store at Brook Cottage Oaksedge Lane Tansley – no objection

 

Applications for consideration:

The Parish Council need to discuss the position at the open meeting on 5 June 2008 regarding the applications for Tansley Wood Mills.

08/00274/LBALT and 08/00261/FUL respectively.

To meet after the open meeting to determine the decision.
