Tansley Parish Council hosted a Tansley In Bloom awards presentation evening on 3rd October at the Brunswick Room at the Methodist Church. Jeff Bates, our Tansley In Bloom judge and Chairman of East Midlands In Bloom, presented the awards guided by Brian Taylor, TIB and EMIB organiser for Tansley Parish Council.

Tansley Parish Council hosted a combined Tansley In Bloom awards and East Midlands In Bloom awards presentation evening in Holy Trinity Church in the evening of 13th October. Jeff Bates, our Tansley In Bloom judge and head judge for East Midlands In Bloom, presented the awards guided by Brian Taylor, TIB and EMIB organiser for Tansley Parish Council.

It was a very well attended evening enjoyed by everyone present. Several of those who could not be present were represented by friends or relatives to collect awards.

Tansley Parish Council - special wards

Tansley Parish Council awarded certicates to local groups that helped Tansley to win its best-ever award in the East Midlands In Bloom competition this year, a Silver Gilt:

      Well-Dressing organisers and artists - received by Revd. Richard Reade on behalf of the team.
      Flower Festival organisers and artists - received by Rita Sayers on behalf of the team.
      Pride In Tansley team - received by Polly Morten on behalf of the team.
      Funding towards street baskets - Blue Diamond (Matlock Garden Centre).
