Care Scheme This is an organisation which can arrange voluntary transport to and from hospital, collect prescriptions and provide help to people in the village in cases of emergency.

Community Hall Management Committee [email Chairman - Joe Woods].

Friends of Holy Trinity Church [Wendy McNee] helps to fund the maintenance of the church building.

Friends of Tansley School [Wendy McNee] provides extra facilities for the school through fundraising.

Neighbourhood Watch [Anita Longworth].

Staley Medical Trust [Geoff Crapper] provides for the loan of medical aids such as wheelchairs and zimmer frames for residents in the village in cases of emergency.

Staley Religious Trust [Mike Stanyon] provides funding for Evangelical religious literature such as Bibles, Christmas or Easter cards and other publicity material for distribution to all homes in the village.

Tabalink [Caroline Bagnall] is the group which organises the link between Tansley and Babadag in Romania. It arranges communication, exchanges and visits between the two villages and organises collection and delivery of aid from Tansley to people in Babadag. Transport of aid to Romania is handled by CX999AID which is a small group of dedicated people who co-ordinate, fundraise and transport humanitarian aid to Romania for three charities in the Chesterfield area.

Tansley Development Association [Secretary - Jane Andrews] helps to fundraise and to provide funds for many purposes/groups within the village.

Tansley Fete Field Committee [Andy Bradley] manages the Fete Field.

Tansley Hotwire [email tansleyhotwire@googlemail.com] is an email group run by Jane Flanagan to enable village information and news to be sent rapidly to its subscribers by email.
