Village School

Tansley Primary School, viewed from Holy Trinity church's tower, was built just prior to World War 2. It was used as a store for sugar, peanuts and other foodstuffs during the war. It started being used as the primary school in 1949, four years after the war in Europe had finished. The playing field is to the rear.

The original school building is now Tansley Village Hall.
