An attractive village venue in the Peak District close to Matlock.
The Hall is funded by hiring its spaces to people.
It receives no grants in normal circumstances.
It welcomes voluntary and fund-raising donations.
It is run entirely by volunteers who give freely of their time.

We don't have Wi-Fi. If you need it for your class, presentation or business, please use your phone's Vodafone or O2 data access service.
To connect a laptop using Wi-Fi, you can establish a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone following the instructions here.
Alternatively, bring a Vodafone or O2 mobile Wi-Fi hotspot device with you or connect using a local BT Wi-Fi hotspot.

Tansley Village Hall is located at the heart of Tansley, next to the village green and children's playground.
Built in 1843, in Victorian times, this attractive gritstone building was the village school until 1949. Fully renovated 2010-2014, it hosts popular, varied activities that are a key part of the village's social life.
It is a great venue for family celebrations, business meetings, group activities, films, concerts and theatrical performances.

If you have used inkjet cartridges you can send them free of charge to Recycle 4 Charity. If you nominate Tansley Village Hall (C6073), we will receive up to £2 for each cartridge you send. To dispose of your cartridges usefully and to help us at the same time, please visit recycle4charity.co.uk/Docket.aspx .

Tansley Hotwire is a free email service carrying village news to local residents. It will tell you about films, shows, outings, groups and clubs you can join, important meetings, what’s happening in the Village Hall, the Community Hall, the churches and the pubs. It will alert you to crimes committed in the area, to lost cats & dogs, unwanted domestic items going free, and much more...
Tansley Hotwire was launched in July 2009 by Jane Flanagan. Its editor is Helen Fullelove. The service has around 500 subscribers.
