91/06 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 12 DECEMBER 2005
The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday 12 December 2005 were amended, approved and signed as a true and accurate record.
92/06 MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES
There were no matters arising, although Cllr Gray expressed the fact that there had been some very favourable comments about the cemetery path.
93/06 EXCLUSIONS
There were no items to be taken in exclusion.
94/06 MASSON TERRACE PETITION/LETTER.
The letter to the residents had been well received, a letter has also been sent to Derbyshire Dales District Council regarding the land drainage problem.
95/06 CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
1. FETE FIELD
Completion date needs to fall in line with the playing fields completion. Opening may coincide with the Summer Fete (17.6.06). The TDA is to meet on 12 January to further this.
The drain connection will now go into the manhole in Spout Lane, due notice will be given to residents, as this option will cause disruption to the residents and their car parking.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL MAINTENANCE
Sweeping should now be back on the six monthly programme, although the dog bins have not been emptied as frequently as they should have been and there are some areas of the village looking quite scruffy.
96/06 VILLAGE PLAN
Tony Keys is analysing the results of the questionnaire as the response has been around 33%, a presentation will be given to the next meeting.
97/06 NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
400 leaflets had been circulated, and 34 leaflets returned, which is quite disappointing although it should be enough to continue with the initiative.
RESOLVED:
To see if the police think able to continue with this level of take up
To call a meeting of those interested and put together a newsletter to advertise this to all comers.
